Jacobs, Jacobs & Shannon is a personal injury law firm that has been servicing clients in the New Haven area since 1967. Our origin however, is in the more distant past. Israel Jacobs - father of Richard Jacobs, grandfather of Steven Jacobs, and a first-generation American - began practicing law after serving in the first World War. As a boxer, he fought for prizes in the ring. As a lawyer, he fought for justice. He had nerves of steel, ice in his veins and fire in his belly.
